Jeaneen Carlino is a multidisciplinary visual artist who specializes in traditional illustration, using mediums including acrylic and gouache paint, graphite, charcoals, color pencils, spray painted stencils, paper collage and resin. She also delights in creating handmade logotypes and surface pattern designs. Additionally, Jeaneen frequents creating digital work, using Photoshop and Illustrator and enjoys editing videos of the creative process with Premier Pro. Her work features themes centered around powerful women and motherhood, spirituality, cityscapes and decorative environments, colorful patterns and has an eye for ornate details. She is formally trained from Art Center College of Design, where she studied Illustration and stays creatively active with client work and personal commissions. Since 2006, she has participated in art shows on occasion at spaces like Thinkspace Gallery, La Luz de Jesus Gallery, SPARC LA ArtCenter, Avenue 50 Studio Gallery and Self Help Graphics & Art Gallery to name a few. She currently sells her art prints at MOLAA, the Museum of Latin American Art gift shop in Long Beach, Ca. Jeaneen has also spent time showcasing her work at pop-up shops and art fairs throughout the Los Angeles area. Currently, she is a mother of two young boys and spends most of her creative time working at her desk on her Wacom tablet and computer or drawing and painting on her easel. Whether it’s a large scale mural or a vectorized illustration, Jeaneen thrives in taking on new creative endeavors to fit the needs of brands and people she can be of service to.
